Worker support (name of worker)
Workers are responsible for all personal living expenses (food, rent, utilities, transportation on the field, vacations, etc.) from the designated gifts they receive each month. DNI forwards all gifts and offerings that are designated for its workers, and grants tax-exempt receipts to donors. No percentage of the gifts is deducted for administrative expenses since DNI administrators also trust God for their support. |
Education and Language Assistance Fund
Entering creative access countries often requires higher education. The cost of getting a college degree may significantly delay DNI workers getting to the field. Your gifts to this fund allow us to assist DNI workers with minimum college tuition payments. In order to communicate the Gospel effectively, we believe it is very important to take the time to learn the language well. Depending on the location and options available, language study can be very expensive. Your gifts to this fund will be used to assist DNI workers with those expenses as needed. |
New York City: Shepherd's Cup Cafe Shepherd's Cup is designed as a platform for outreach, especially for DNI workers witnessing to Asia Minor peoples. Shepherd's Cup will run a cafe to help employ immigrants and be a witness to Christ in the workplace. The bookstore (including an online bookstore) will have Bibles/Christian literature in English, Turkish, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, and other languages found in NYC. There will also be space for classes for teaching English and for discipleship. Shepherd's Cup has also received its non-profit 501(c)3 status. This was a huge blessing! Global Impact for Christ (GIFC) has purchased a building. Shepherd's Cup is leasing the building from them. Renovations of the building are underway to open the café and ministry center. Your giving toward Shepherd's Cup can be designated for renovations, the bookstore, or where needed most. If you would like to receive a newsletter about ongoing development of Shepherd's Cup, click here. Thank you for your interest and prayers. Shepherd’s Cup website can be found at, shepherdscup.com |
About RESTORE Training
Restore Training is a trauma-based training committed to equipping our women to facilitate the restoration of women in hard places. Our vision is to see Anabaptist women receiving the healing and redemption of Jesus in their own lives and then moving with Jesus’ power into the stories of trafficked and prostituted women. We envision a network of women who practice obedience, faithfulness, and sacrifice by moving into darkness with the light of the Gospel. Training will include outsourced certificate programs in trauma and crisis care, a three-day event specific to sex-trafficking, online Christ-centered counselor training, and six-weeks of Long-Term-Orientation for general missions. Trainees will be paired with a personal coach to receive in-depth mentorship and accountability during the six-month course of the program. We plan to launch the Restore website in January in preparation for accepting applicants for training beginning in the fall of 2020. Southeast Asia Refugees - Baby Formula Fund
Mothers around the world worry that their babies are not receiving enough milk. It seems to be one of the universal concerns of mothers. For mothers in North America there is an easy solution if the mother does not have enough breastmilk. Formula is easily available and, although expensive, still affordable for most families. For mothers in developing countries however one small box of formula, enough to make about 4-days' worth of bottles for a growing baby, can cost a full day's wages. $5.00 for a full day of manual labor is considered a good wage in this part of the world. One box of formula costs $5.80. This box of formula will only feed your baby for 3-4 days. Imagine if you were spending 2 day's worth of income just to feed your baby for one week. Imagine if you had to choose between buying milk for the baby or buying nutritious food for the rest of your family. These are the types of choices many families are faced with. We are happy to be able to help some of the families facing these sorts of choices with formula for their babies. We currently provide babies who are not able to breastfeed (like those with cleft palates and those whose mothers have died) with 1 box of formula per week. It does not provide all the baby needs, but it certainly helps. We also provide formula to babies who are not thriving with breastfeeding. Last week for example we started giving formula to a baby who weighs 6 pounds at 4 months. She probably hadn't gained much weight since her birth. After receiving her first box of formula she gained more than half a pound in one week (see picture). Goal: $600/month |

Mexico Church: Two Motorcycles
Most of the believers in the San Pedro church live in small villages a distance from the church where there is no public transportation. The two motorcycles would facilitate two church leaders who visit the villages to lead Bible studies and to hold services. The two men will need to pay one-third of the total cost of the motorcycles and they will own them. Estimated cost - $1,000 (2/3 of the cost; the other 1/3 will be paid by the two brothers) |
