The Mission Training Center in New York City is operated under the oversight of DNI. It exists to prepare workers for service among unreached peoples and to provide opportunities for people to gain exposure to ministry in an urban, cross-cultural setting. MTC is located in Elmhurst, Queens, one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods of the world. The location allows students to gain hands-on ministry experience with their target people group in addition to classroom training.
The Mission Training Center's vision is to see every church passionate about going to all nations and each worker empowered to accomplish the task. The staff at MTC works toward this vision by keeping a central focus on their mission statement: "Impacting eternity by empowering individuals to share the Gospel globally".
